Celebration of Learning
Our art topic for this half term is textiles. We have been learning about how fabric is made using the warp and weft method. The children of St Andrew's all came together to celebrate the life and work of Sir David Attenborough, as we celebrated his 100 wonderful years on 'Planet Earth'. The children dressed up for the day as their favourite animals and explorers and enjoyed lots of activities throughout the day. At the end of the day, we enjoyed showing off our David Attenborough Exhibition, which featured various David Attenborough inspired projects, pictures, models and birthday cards. We look forward to a new generation taking care of our planet, much like Sir David Attenborough himself. (May 2026)
