After School Clubs
Our after-school clubs at St Andrew's Infant School offer a fun, safe and nurturing environment where children can relax, play and explore new interests at the end of the school day.
Designed especially for young children, our clubs give pupils the chance to:
- Be creative through arts and crafts
- Stay active with games and movement
- Build confidence, friendships and social skills
All clubs are led by caring, experienced staff who understand the needs of infant-aged children and ensure every child feels included, supported and valued. Our after-school clubs provide a positive and enjoyable extension to the school day and peace of mind to parents.
As well as offering clubs run by 3rd parties, our teachers also run various clubs each term - these change each term. There is no charge for our teacher run clubs so they are always very popular. We try and ensure the allocation of places is done fairly, based on what other clubs each child has attended.

Fresh Air Fun Club
Fresh Air Fun Club was a huge hit in the Autumn Term. The club takes place at Space2Grow, where the children have the freedom to explore and play in their beautiful garden surroundings.
Glockenspiel Club
Glockenspiel Club was held during a lunchtime during Autumn Term. The children loved learning this new instrument and enjoyed performing at the end of the term in the Christmas Nativity.
Musical Theatre & Yoga
YoKids offers specially designed sessions for children aged 4-7 years, combining the magic of musical theatre, the energy of dance, and the calm focus of yoga - all in one joyful session! Our sessions are imaginative, engaging and age-appropriate - helping children grow in confidence whilst having lots of fun. Children will sing and dance in fun musical theatre sessions and explore playful yoga for strength, balance and relaxation. YoKids offers both after school session as well as holiday sessions.
Gymnastics Club
Give your child the perfect end to the school day with after school gymnastics, delivered by the qualified, experienced coaches from Prestige Gymnastics. The fun structured sessions are designed especially for infant school children, helping them build confidence, coordination and strength in a safe and supportive environment. Suitable for all abilities, the sessions will develop floor skills, balance, agility and basic apparatus work. A focus on fun, participation and personal progress.
Art Club
Art is a great way to encourage and develop creativity, new, skills, confidence and perseverance. Your child will have fun experimenting with a wide range of art materials and techniques. These lively, weekly sessions will include observational drawing, 3D, painting and collage making. The classes are taught by Lesley O'Hara, a professional artist and designer.
Story Crafters
The St Andrew’s Story & Craft Club is a joyful after-school club where books spark creativity and imagination comes to life! Each week, children enjoy a fun story followed by a hands-on craft inspired by the book. From painting and gluing to cutting, building and decorating, children explore stories in a playful, creative way.
