Butterfly Class

Welcome to Butterfly Class!

Year 1 is an exciting and important stage in your child’s learning journey, where we build on the foundations from Reception and encourage growing independence, curiosity, and confidence. In our classroom, we create a safe, happy, and engaging environment where every child is supported to achieve their very best.

Our class is taught by Mr Hallet, alongside our dedicated Teaching Assistant, Mrs Davis. Together, we work closely to provide a nurturing and stimulating setting, delivering a broad and balanced curriculum that inspires a love of learning.

Throughout the year, children will develop key skills in reading, writing, and mathematics, as well as explore a wide range of topics across the curriculum. We value strong partnerships with parents and carers and look forward to sharing your child’s achievements and progress with you.
