Otter Class

Welcome to Otter Class!

Year 2 is a key stage in your child’s primary school journey, where we build confidence, independence, and a deeper love of learning. As children prepare for the transition into Key Stage 2, we support them in developing important skills while encouraging curiosity and resilience.

Our class is taught by Mrs Lloyd and Mrs Durrack, alongside our dedicated Teaching Assistant, Mrs Wilkins. Together, we provide a caring, supportive, and engaging learning environment where every child is encouraged to achieve their full potential.

Throughout the year, children will continue to strengthen their reading, writing, and maths skills, while also exploring a wide and exciting curriculum. We aim to make learning enjoyable and meaningful, helping children grow in confidence both academically and socially.

We look forward to working in partnership with parents and carers and sharing the many successes and experiences of our Year 2 class.
